Frequently asked questions
Does Foliosodev work offline like Obsidian?
No. Foliosodev is a web app, so your notes live on the server and you need a connection to edit them. If offline, local-first files matter most, Obsidian is the better fit.
Can I still get my notes out as Markdown?
Yes. Export any page as Markdown, or your whole account as a ZIP of Markdown files and images, on every plan.
Does Foliosodev have plugins?
No. Foliosodev has no plugin system. It has a REST API for reading and writing pages with a token.
