Foliosodev is a Markdown notes app with a proper editor behind it. Type #, - or ``` and the formatting appears as you write, or press / for tables, diagrams, callouts and images.
Markdown shortcuts, without the syntax in your way
Headings, lists, task lists, quotes and inline code all respond to the Markdown you already type, and a URL you type becomes a link. The result is a clean page rather than a wall of asterisks, and any page exports back to Markdown when you need the file.
- Bold, italic, strikethrough and inline code from the keyboard, links from the toolbar
- Bulleted, numbered and task lists, quotes and dividers
- Left, centre and right alignment for when a page needs it
Slash commands for tables, callouts and images
Press / to insert a table, a code block, a Mermaid diagram, an image or a callout. Tables grow with rows and columns as you need them; callouts come in info, success, warning and error, so the line that matters stands out.
Paste or drop an image and it is re-encoded to WebP on the server, so screenshots of stack traces don't bloat your notes. The largest upload depends on your plan:

Pages that link to each other
Type # to link another page; the link keeps working when the page is renamed, and the page you linked to lists it as a backlink. Nest pages under a parent, follow the outline down the side of a long page, and let autosave keep up: it saves three seconds after you stop typing.
