Pricing questions
How do plan changes work?
Upgrades apply straight away, and you pay the difference for the rest of the billing period. A move to a smaller plan, or back to Free, takes effect at the end of the current period, so you keep what you paid for until then.
What happens to my pages on a smaller plan?
No page is ever deleted because you changed plan. Features your new plan does not include stop working: you cannot create more than its limits allow, and custom branding stops showing on shared pages. If your organisation has more members than the new plan has seats when the change takes effect, the newest members are suspended until it fits, and your admins are emailed. The owner keeps access, and suspended members keep their pages.
How do seats work?
Plans billed per seat count your members, and are never billed for fewer seats than the plan's minimum, so seats up to the minimum are already paid for. Adding seats beyond that applies immediately and is prorated; removing seats applies at your next renewal. Suspended members do not take a seat, so a suspended member drops off your bill at the next renewal unless that would take you below the minimum.
Can I export my notes on every plan?
Yes. Markdown export of any page, and a full-account ZIP of every page you wrote and every image you uploaded, are on every plan, Free included. PDF export and the REST API depend on your plan.
